Here’s Why “#GunVote” is So Important

As of July, there is less than four months to exercise your right to something very important. It’s all about protecting your gun rights. How are you going to do that? It’s pretty easy…voting.

You must vote to make sure that the candidates you are selecting are going to defend the Second Amendment. There is a movement right now that is growing and spreading this all-important message. It’s called #GunVote. Here’s what you need to know so you can be prepared to do your part.

If you are not registered to vote in your area, then now is the time to take action. The #GunVote website will help you do this if you are unsure about the process. The motto is simple: “don’t risk your rights.”

Go to the button on their website that takes you to a link where you can register to vote. Once you put in your basic information and the state you live in, it will give you the resources you need. The website makes it very easy to do, so there is no excuse for not exercising these important rights as an American.

Your Polling Place

The website will also tell you your polling location. That way you’ll know exactly where you need to go on Election Day 2020, which by the way this year is Tuesday, November 3rd.

Mark your calendar now to remember to vote. You can also request a mail-in ballot if you don’t think you’ll be able to make it to the polling location this year. With many people staying home due to COVID-19, there still isn’t any reason not to vote. Doing it from the comfort of your own home is easy with a “vote-by-mail” ballot.

Which Is the Second Amendment Candidate?

Another helpful aspect to the website is a section on the 2020 Presidential candidates. It goes into each person’s positions and things they have said publicly on the Second Amendment. You may already know who the best Second Amendment candidate is, but it’s truly an eye-opening experience to read up on it yourself.

If you are a hunter, gun owner, or just care about defending your rights, it’s vital that you participate in the voting process. Another small thing you can do is tweet out your support on Twitter with the #GunVote tag.

At the end of the day, #GunVote is a great educational tool that supports the right to bear arms in our country. Don’t let your voice go unheard this upcoming election day.
