If you’re in the market for a .357 magnum, the Colt Python is a catch if there ever was one. Featuring an 8-inch barrel and a shiny finish, it’s the type of handgun firearm lovers fantasize about.
But, can it punch through eight layers of DIY bullet-proof glass?
Obviously, we can’t spoil the video featured below — but we’ll just say that eight layers of plexiglass and liquid nails is far more formidable than we previously thought.
The Demolition Crew kicks off this upload with a thinner target, with four layers of plexiglass held together by liquid nails. The idea was the replicate bullet-proof glass. Obviously, it doesn’t look like it would make a great window in a building, but you’re still able to see through it. Amazingly, the DIY job does very well in stopping or even deflecting ammunition.
The larger, 8-layer version does an even more impressive job.
But, some guns are simply more powerful than others.
