California Governor Gavin Newsom signed a pair of bills at the end of September taking direct aim at the ability of residents to buy and sell firearms from each other.
The first bill, titled AB 2362, imposes levies on licensed firearm dealers for minor technical violations. Passed overwhelmingly by the state’s Democrat-controlled legislature, firearm dealers are looking at a whopping $3,000 fine for having the wrong text size on required signs.
Pro-Second Amendment groups have pointed out that the bill is a blatant attempt to put firearm dealers out of business.
“This bill is an obvious attempt to drive dealers out of business for inconsequential violations,” the NRA said in a statement.
Unfortunately for people living in California, it doesn’t stop there. Another bill, SB 914, makes it harder for Americans under the age of 21 to purchase a simple rifle or shotgun. The legislation, also passed overwhelmingly by Democratic lawmakers in the state, puts more measures in place to scrutinize licensing requirements for younger would-be gun owners.
The bill is expected to put an end to most or all youth shooting programs in the state.

We need to take the CA legislature and governor to the Supreme Court for a whipping. A lawsuit that prohibits them from any further gun laws and repeal of all those currently on the books. Adopt a 2A is the law standard.
