Democrats, the media, and even RINO Republicans hollered years ago that Trump would start World War III if elected President of the United States in 2016.
However, what could very easily turn into World War III just started, on “President” Joe Biden’s watch.
Not surprisingly, former President Donald Trump’s opponents are still blaming the former president for the crisis, stating that it would not have happened if he had sent more weapons into the embattled region during his time in office.
Apparently, J6 protestors are also to blame for the conflict according to Democrats, as they made the United States “look weak” and thus emboldened Russia to invade its neighbor.
Even a fast look at the facts shows the absurdity of the statement.
One of the reasons that Russian President Vladimir Putin is currently invading Ukraine is the fact that the Biden Administration sent a large quantity of advanced U.S.-made weaponry to Ukraine, while at the same time encouraging the nation to join NATO.
Biden has been arming Ukraine for the last several months leading up to the invasion, and Russia had every right to be worried about a hostile government eventually bringing nuclear weapons into a country that shares a long border with its own.
Had former President Trump made such a move, Russia would have likely invaded Ukraine on his watch, and he would have been rightfully blamed for the outcome of his actions.
He was smart enough to leave well enough alone; the current president and his coterie apparently aren’t.
What’s more, there are many indications that what is currently a regional spat could eventually turn into a World War if one or two countries or people make a wrong move.
The United States continues to send military aid into the region; a move that is likely to inflame tensions with Russia and even China.
The West’s Draconian sanctions on Russia also risk raising the ire of the Russian President, and a man who has nothing to lose may not have any problem taking even more drastic measures.
President Putin has already put his nuclear arsenal on high alert.
Some in the West may see it as a bluff, but it may be smarter (and safer) to assume that may not be the case.
Russia and Ukraine are currently holding talks, but it appears neither side is serious about making serious compromises.
President Biden himself has steadfastly resisted the notion of putting American soldiers on the ground or enforcing a “no-fly” zone over Ukraine, but he’s obviously in a state of mental decline and many of his senior cabinet members are avid warmongers eager to disrupt the status quo.
Secretary of State Anthony Blinken founded a secretive consulting firm for military industries before becoming the nation’s top diplomat.
His undersecretary of state, Victoria Nuland, was instrumental in the overthrow of Ukraine’s democratically-elected government in 2014.
Deputy Secretary of Defense Kathleen Hicks previously served in a senior role at Washington’s most hawkish think-tank.
National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan has long promoted the Russiagate hoax and seems eager for conflict even though he has conceded it would come as an enormous “human cost” to Ukraine.
It is still possible for the Ukraine-Russia conflict to end at least somewhat peacefully, or at least not escalate to become a regional or even global war.
Unfortunately, the world’s leading nations aren’t making moves towards peace.
Russia is certainly not scaling back its military efforts, and the United States seems eager to do keep provoking Russia by imposing sanctions and sending continued military aid to the region.
As President of the United States, Joe Biden has made a mess of what was already a tense situation, and he and his cabinet members continue to inflame tensions on a daily basis.
To say that the fiasco is former President Trump’s fault is absurd and shows a dangerous lack of intelligence that could lead to an eventual nuclear conflict no one wants.
