The Most Famous Female-Owned Shooting Ranges

In the United States alone, there are an estimated 7,081 shooting ranges. They bring in an annual revenue of over $2 billion, while also employing 22,383 people, according to a study done by a popular market research group.

Did you ever wonder how many of those shooting ranges are female owned? It’s hard to tell exactly how many firing ranges are owned by women, but when you look at the statistics of gun owners, 62 percent of those are men. So, it’s natural to think that more firing ranges are generally owned by men. That is changing, though, as more and more women are becoming gun owners with their numbers increasing each year.

The next step would be more female owned firing ranges where women weren’t afraid to share their love of the Second Amendment, and help all others become more adept at shooting by owning their own ranges.

The best way to find out if one of these ranges in your area is owned by a woman is to call and ask.
