Sig Sauer to Open New “Experience Center” in New Hampshire

Sig Sauer, one of the most celebrated brands in the firearm industry, is opening a new facility in New Hampshire where fans can admire the craft of gun manufacturing. Let’s take a deeper look at the “Sig Sauer Experience Center,” what it will offer, and what you can look forward to from the company in the future.

Construction Has Just Started

The Sig Sauer Experience Center will be located in Epping, New Hampshire where the Sig Sauer Academy is positioned. That’s only a short half-hour drive from the headquarters. The Academy is where Sig Sauer puts on an extensive roster of gun training and safety courses for all levels of experience. The instructors are some of the most accomplished men and women in the shooting industry. For exceptional skills and training, it doesn’t get any better than the Sig Sauer Academy.

That’s why the building of the Sig Sauer Experience Center promises to be a welcome addition to the property. The Center is going to be an almost 41,000 square foot facility that aims to bring in visitors all over the world. Think of it like the ultimate tourist destination for the gun lover and their families who champion Sig Sauer’s work.

Some of the features of the Sig Sauer Experience Center will be an extensive retail store with all kinds of Sig gadgets and gear, an indoor shooting range with all the high tech advancements they are known for, and a museum dedicated to the history and love of the Sig brand. There will also be meeting and conferences rooms for various shows and industry-wide gatherings. The entire facility promises to be an attraction like no other firearm brand has in America.

A Huge Undertaking

The design was created by North Branch Construction and the architectural firm of Cowan Goudreau. The entire project is set to cost Sig around $13.5 million when it’s all said and done. Ron Cohen, the CEO of Sig Sauer, was present for the groundbreaking ceremony that took place earlier in May 2021. The governor of New Hampshire, Chris Sununu, was also in attendance, along with some other key government officials who were happy to support this new project. The new facility will need an extra 30 employees to run it effectively. Plus, the meeting rooms will be available to the public for event rental space.

The projected opening, provided that everything goes on the right schedule, will be the summer of 2022. So if you are a huge fan of Sig Sauer, it might be time to make plans to visit New Hampshire next year when the facility opens up.

  1. Of course I do. I am usually not alone, with grandkids and family. There are really stupid people out there, and I won’t let anything happen to anyone with me.

  2. I don’t hike any more but camping is a possibility; this day and age, being armed is essential whether the attacker is two-legged or four-legged and whether I am alone or with companions.
