In case you’ve been living under a rock, Hickok45 is the gun reviewer that other gun reviewers watch. His YouTube channel is almost as old as the platform itself, and boasts for having nearly 5 million subscribers.
As you can imagine, we were pretty excited to learn that Hickok recently released several compilation videos alongside Matt from Demolition Ranch. It was great to see two legendary “gun tubers” share a screen, and even better to see Hickok fire off a few rounds using weapons he was clearly uncomfortable with.
Just to put things into perspective, Hickok’s full-time job is firing weapons in front of a camera. There aren’t a lot of guns that he’s unfamiliar with. But when you see the weapons Matt hands over to him, you’ll see why it was hard for him to take the video seriously at first.
The first subject is rather simple, albeit unconventional to a degree. It’s a gold-plated 1911 pistol. While the weapon looks odd to more traditional gun owners, the familiar build made it easy to adjust.
And that’s when Matt began rolling out the weird stuff…
