Members Of ‘The Squad’ Pretend To Be Arrested In D.C. During A SCOTUS Protest

The Democrats are back at their political theatre as members of the “squad” made up of House Representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY), Ilhan Omar (MN), Cori Bush (MO), Ayanna Pressley (MA), and Rashida Tlaib (MI) took part in a protest against the United States Supreme Court and their decision to overturn Roe v. Wade – which gave the question of abortion legality back to the states.

Ocasio-Cortez and her brother marrying buddy Omar, while protesting were “arrested” by D.C. police, but really it was all for show and evidence proves that it was nothing more than a photo-op for the pair, who were never put in handcuffs, but pretended they were anyway.

This is just another photo-op for AOC, who went to a detention center for illegal migrants when former President Donald Trump had implemented strict border control for those crossing into the U.S illegally and had posed for pictures outside – crying and collapsing at how “heartbreaking” it was to see the “people” suffering at the hands of the Trump administration.

In reality, there were no suffering migrants outside the detention center, in fact, there was no one at all and she was not able to see anything from where she was standing on the outside of the facility.

During the protest of SCOTUS, both AOC and Omar used the fake arrest to pose for photo-ops and the internet has not been kind to the two – including their Republican Representative counterparts.

Omar posted about the incident on social media:

“Today I was arrested while participating in a civil disobedience action with my fellow members of Congress outside the Supreme Court.” Omar then went on to say, “I will do everything in my power to raise the alarm about the assault on our reproductive rights.”

Marjorie Taylor Green (R-GA) took to Twitter to call out the pair, saying, “You faked being handcuffed for your photo-op today as Cap Police warned you 3 times to get out of the street. Then you were arrested, so you would stop playing in traffic.”

Taylor Green then pointed out that abortion is still very much legal in Omar’s district, “Abortion is legal up to 24 weeks in Minnesota, you’re protesting nothing.” Adding, “You’re a liar.”

AOC caught heat from Taylor Green too, mocking her alongside a picture of AOC pretending to be in handcuffs.

“@AOC so you faked being handcuffed to keep lying to women? Abortion is legal up until birth in NY, but your voters can’t afford groceries and crime is out of control. Desperate isn’t a good look on you. Go back to your Insta makeup tutorials, you’re actually good at those.” Taylor Green wrote.

Perhaps the squad members should focus more on their own districts, where they were actually elected. This is just another distraction, because while the squad are pretending to be arrested, real medical tyranny – like vaccines and masks – are being pushed again on the public.
