Many Second Amendment advocates have become frustrated with what they see as the NRA’s lackluster performance in defending constitutional rights. After all, the organization was happy to throw its political weight behind the Trump Administration’s bump stock ban, which many saw as a cheap way to safe face in the wake of bad press. A few high-profile gun YouTube channels have even stopped stumping for the NRA, suggesting it has fallen out of favor with the very people it counts on for support.
