Firearm sales in the United States have soared in recent weeks as uncertainty regarding the global coronavirus pandemic continues.
At face value, this my not seem like a bad thing. After all, veteran gun owners typically cheer the idea of more people joining their community. When this happens, support for the Second Amendment grows, and our civil liberties appear more secure.
However, many gun owners have voiced concern over this trend. While a surge in gun ownership may seem like a net positive, the fact remains that many are simply panic buying, and not taking the time to educate and train themselves the same way they would during regular circumstances.
The video below is a long one. Many gun owners are probably already familiar with Paul Harrell, a military veteran turned “GunTuber”, but that’s not who this video is for. This is a video for people who, for the first time ever, want to purchase a firearm to protect themselves and their family.
The most important part of gun safety is education. So, if you can convince a newbie gun owner to sit through all 40 minutes of this, you’re helping to make the entire country safer in a small but not insignificant way.
