Former President Donald Trump hasn’t formally announced that he is running for the presidency again in 2024.
He has, however, shown he can still draw crowds.
His recent rally in Conroe, Texas, was attended by thousands of enthusiastic individuals.
The former president used the platform to show that he can still generate headlines by telling his supporters that he would consider pardoning at least some people involved in the January 6th protests.
“If I run and if I win, we will treat those people from January 6 fairly. We will treat them fairly. And if it requires pardons, we will give them pardons, because they are being treated so unfairly,” Trump told the enthusiastic crowd.
GOP SENATORS AGHAST AT TRUMP PARDON IDEA
Naturally, Democrats are less than thrilled about the idea of pardoning those involved in the January 6th protests.
However, even some members of the former president’s own party choked when asked about Trump’s pledge to those who came out to the nation’s capital on that Wednesday to protest what they viewed as a stolen election.
Sen. Lindsay Graham, who has been an on-again, off-again Trump supporter (in other words, somebody NOT to be trusted), told news outlets, “I think it’s inappropriate. … those who did it [took part in the January 6th protests], I hope they go to jail and get the book thrown at them because they deserve it.”
Sen. Susan Collins was slightly more diplomatic, telling ABC, “I do not think the president, President Trump, should have made that pledge to do pardons. January 6th was a dark day in our history.”
Granted, Sen. Collins has never been an enthusiastic supporter of the former president and even voted to convict him during his second impeachment trial.
Even so, she was hesitant to come out and say that she would not consider voting for him again in 2024.
Rather than give a clear indication of her intentions, she attempted to defer the question by inferring that she doesn’t believe she will be faced with that choice two years from now.
LOOK WHO ELSE SEEMS TO HAVE SOMETHING TO HIDE
Many conservative pundits have long pointed to circumstantial evidence indicating that the FBI had informants on the ground during the January 6th protests.
It appears they are at it again, as evidence indicates the feds may have attended former President Trump’s most recent rally.
Trump supporters photographed a group of four men wearing matching caps and matching face masks designed to cover the neck, ears and almost the entire face.
The latter bit of attire was odd given the fact that other rally attendees weren’t wearing even simple cloth masks.
Additionally, the men wore clothing typically worn by liberal men and immediately split up, all going in different directions as soon as they got in the door.
AND EVEN MORE HIDING
The Biden regime has long been trying to cover up its gross mismanagement of the nation’s border.
It appears, as many have long suspected, that the regime is flying migrants all over the country in an attempt to cover up the sheer multitudes of people who are crossing without proper paperwork.
Florida Congressional Candidate Laura Loomer recently erupted over a video showing a group of what appears to be undocumented Hispanic males being dripped off in front of a Florida hotel with government-funded, prepaid credit cards.
The men were also given hotel rooms and clothes in addition to the cards.
Loomer highlighted the fact that the video shows that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is right in asserting that the Biden regime is shipping migrants all over the nation, and called on ICE to raid the hotel and deport those who entered the country without proper paperwork.
It’s unlikely her plea will get any attention from the government agency, much less the mainstream media, as it appears that those in authority are either too busy complaining about the former president’s unpopular stances on sensitive issues, or are spending their free time sneaking into his rallies to try to catch him saying or doing something that could be used against him.
