The Precision Rifle Expo 2020 is Back On

Many shooting events were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Many of your favorite gun shows were probably postponed this summer.

There is good news though. The Precision Rifle Expo 2020 is happening! It’s the third annual event of its kind, and is hosted Blakely, Georgia at the Arena Training Facility. They expect thousands of people to attend this event which will be held on September 26-27th, 2020.

It’s All About the Long Range Rifle Market

The event features classes, training, and exhibitors in the industry who will be featuring long range rifles and all the gear that goes with this important style of firearm. The Arena Training Facility is a huge 2,300 acre shooting site that is the perfect place to host this kind of event. It has on-site lodging, classrooms, an off-road mobility course, and multiple ranges both indoors and out. This shooting range is truly one of the most impressive ones in the world where people from civilians to law enforcement come to get top-notch training and improve their shooting skills. If you haven’t been there before, it might be time to plan a trip around the Precision Rifle Expo in September.

Buy Your Tickets Early to Save Money

If you buy your tickets early, it’s only $35 per day. You can also buy tickets each day of the event for $50. This will get you a wrist band and access to any of the classes that you want to take each day. You don’t have to pre-register for classes this year, which is a nice option. That way you can just decide on the days of the event what classes you feel like taking.

The event promoters haven’t announced the list of classes for this year, but to give you an idea of some of the classes they had last year those were things like, precision loading, wind reading, rifle maintenance, fundamentals of marksmanship, introduction to ELR (extreme long range), and applied ballistics device setup.

The roster of instructors and firearm specialists is also impressive. This expo truly attracts the top talent from the industry. Plus, the list of exhibitors is amazing. They have announced some of them on the website, but they will be adding more in the coming months. The exhibitors go out of their way to showcase all the newest gear and items that aren’t even available to the general public yet. It’s a cool preview you can’t see anywhere else.

Where You Should Fly Into

The Arena Training Facility is located two hours away from the Hartsfield Airport in Atlanta. So, more than likely you are going to want to rent a car and drive to the event’s location. If you have access to your own plane you can also fly directly to the Arena Training Facility since they have an airstrip and a hanger to store your plane.

Are you ready to make your plans to attend the Precision Rifle Expo? Sounds like a perfect shooting event to us.
