As a new addition to Sig Sauer’s hunting line, you can imagine this rifle has been years in the making with the care and extreme detail that goes into each of their firearms. A Modern Sporting Rifle
The M400 Tread Predator Rifle is a Modern Sporting Rifle, or MSR platform hunting rifle. It’s a semi-automatic rifle that is used by a lot of hunters, but is also a popular choice for just going shooting at the gun range. So even if you don’t hunt regularly, you may enjoy having this gun for routine practice at your favorite range.
The rifle is equipped to take down more aggressive game. You would hunt animals that are fast and wily, or who have the potential to attack when they feel threatened by a human such as coyotes.

Personally, I have no problem with people owning a rifle like the Sig Sauer M400 but I do have one big concern. It looks too much like a military rifle and will get the attention of every socialist politician who wants to ban any kind of firearm. Perhaps we should all stick to something a bit more traditional with wooden stocks and even perhaps bolt actions.
