The third annual Caliber Award nominations are out now.
This is a partnership between the National Association of Sporting Goods Wholesalers (NASGW) and the Professional Outdoor Media Association (POMA). They come up with the best firearms and firearm-related products for 2019 each year that are standouts in the industry.
There are six different categories and one overall “best” product that walks away a winner for the Caliber Awards. It’s a big deal to take the top spot. An independent roster of 18 judges who are a part of the firearm industry in some important way do the voting in each category.
With 18 nominees overall, this comes from a list of almost 200 submissions in this prestigious event. Even though the awards have only been out for three years, it’s already something firearm makers aim to be recognized for.
The Final Awards
The final awards will be announced on October 22, 2019 at an appreciation dinner during the Expo. This will take place in Orlando, Florida at the National Association of Sporting Goods Wholesalers Expo. People come from all over the world that are members of this important association to see the event that takes place over four days. This is a private, members-only event where people will get to see exhibits and showcases from industry insiders.
So, are you interested to see if any of your favorite new products made the list? Let’s find out which of the best new products are being recognized in each of the six categories.
