A new book by well-known gun activist and author John Lott provides fresh ammo for freedom-loving Americans to win every debate on gun control.
To date, Lott has written ten books on Second Amendment subjects. His most recent offering, titled “Gun Control Myths,” just came out this week. It’s all about how the media, politicians, and bogus statistics have perpetuated many myths in our society about gun control. He goes on to debunk these myths in an informative and entertaining way.

Some of the myths Lott touches on in the book are falsehoods about mass public shootings. The foreword of the book is even written by Andrew Pollack, whose daughter was killed in the 2018 Parkland School shooting in Florida.
Other topics include how the FBI reports crime data, the effectiveness of gun-free zones, and myths around gun ownership and crime. It shows how the political environment we live in today and the left-wing media go out of their way to demonize gun ownership.
Lott has been called the “go-to expert” when it comes to protecting Second Amendment rights. His educational background includes a Ph.D. in economics from UCLA, which also led him to teaching the subject of law and economics at many prestigious universities such as Yale Law School, Rice University, and the Wharton School of Business.
