President Biden has continually said that he does not want the Ukraine conflict to turn into World War 3; unfortunately, his actions don’t match his words.
What’s more, he is sending mixed signals that make it clear he either doesn’t really care what happens or is actively trying to start a third World War that has the potential to be far more devastating than the previous two World Wars combined.
Secretary of State Anthony Blinken recently announced that the United States has sent another $100 in arms to the Ukrainian government and made it clear that most NATO members have been funneling arms to the region since the conflict began.
What’s more, Blinken confirmed reports that the United States Army has been training Ukrainian fighters in the United States to use Switchblade tactical drones, with the full expectation that these fighters would soon return to Ukraine and pass their knowledge on to others.
Naturally, the Biden Administration will be providing the Ukrainian army with these drones in the very near future.
While the United States has been providing weapons to Ukraine since the beginning of the conflict, it’s no surprise that is continuing to do so; however, the training services coupled with the gifting of increasingly hi-tech weaponry risk turning what is now a proxy conflict between two nuclear powers into a direct one.
Other NATO countries are taking things one step further, with the Czech Republic sending in tanks and Slovakia sending in an S300 air defense missile system.
It is highly improbable that such moves would have been made without President Biden’s tacit support and approval.
Ironically, President Biden is, at the same time, shielding China from meaningful consequences for its continued support for Russia.
It’s becoming increasingly clear that China is providing meaningful material support for its northern neighbor, and the Biden administration is ignoring the reality on the ground.
Rather than take action, President Biden and his minions continue to issue “warnings” while pretending that what they are warning about isn’t already happening.
The continued bluffs aren’t helping resolve the conflict; Russian President Vladimir Putin has all the help he needs to continue the war and China now realizes the United States isn’t as powerful as it makes itself out to be, which could embolden Chinese President Xi Jinping to invade Taiwan.
While the United States has committed itself to defend Taiwan if it is invaded by China, it remains to be seen if it actually can or will do so, as it may not be able to sustain direct conflict with China while engaging in a proxy war with Russia.
In times past, the United States was known for its ability to broker deals and end conflicts, thus saving the lives of millions of people around the world.
The United States played a key role in brokering Sudan’s Comprehensive Peace Agreement in order to end Africa’s longest civil war; it also brokered the Good Friday Agreement, Dayton Agreement, and Camp David Accords.
When the USSR decided to put nuclear warheads in Cuba, then-U.S. President John Kennedy worked things out in America’s favor without bloodshed.
Sadly, those days are long gone.
The current occupant of the White House struggles to string together coherent sentences on a good day, and his warmongering cabinet members are all too happy to take matters into their own hands and orchestrate the escalation of a conflict that could easily kill untold millions of people.
The Biden Administration’s decision to keep provoking Russia while at the same time refusing to take action against Russia’s main ally risks involving the United States in a world war that no one will really win.
