The Most Lethal Handguns of All Time, Ranked

Let’s face it — sometimes sidearms aren’t really sidearms at all.

Despite being physically smaller and less visually intimidating than rifles and shotguns, many handguns have been designed to pack just as much, if not more of a punch than their fellow firearms. The video below discusses some of the best examples.

Perhaps the most obvious is the Desert Eagle, a pistol known to even firearm amateurs whose only exposure to shooting has been through video games or Hollywood films. This handgun has such massive power behind it, its recoil has been known to be a serious threat for inexperienced shooters.

“Shooting with such guns is dangerous not only for those who are shot, but for the shooter himself,” YouTube account Mad Lab wrote it its description for the video. “Broken hands and hearing loss – that’s the price for such a high striking ability!”

Of course, the Desert Eagle merely scratches the surface of the lethality that has been accomplished with handguns. Watch the video below to learn more!
