Here Are the Coolest Weapons we Saw in the John Wick Movies

John Wick is a guy that loves his dog. He also loves using a variety of pretty awesome weapons in each movie of the John Wick trilogy. In case you don’t know anything about the plot of these action films, it’s a story of vengeance and redemption for an elite assassin. The films definitely made an impact — they run on cable TV on a regular basis because people can’t get enough of them.

Enjoying the amazing arsenal of guns in the John Wick movies is like watching a cool first person shooter video game come to life. Let’s look at some of the guns that are featured in the John Wick franchise used by Keanu Reeves himself.

Heckler & Koch P30L

This is clearly one of John Wick’s favorite firearms to exact his revenge on the Russian mobsters who killed his dog, Daisy. The Heckler & Koch P30L is a huge handgun that he uses in all three of the movies to blow gigantic holes into his targets.

Glock 26

A smaller handgun that is also used in all three movies is the Glock 26. Small but mighty, this handgun is used in a memorable bathhouse scene where he’s chasing Iosef Tarasov, who killed his dog, and is also the son of the leader of the Russian mafia in New York City. John also takes down a bunch of this bad guy’s henchman with the Glock 26.

Franken-Revolver

There is a pretty killer scene where John is being pursued by a gang of violent assassins and where he runs into an antique store to grab a gun. When he finds out that the bullets won’t fit into one old timey revolver, he manages to grab a few and create a “franken-revolver.” How kickass is that? John Wick manages to take down a few more enemies once this makeshift weapon is put together.

Kimber Warrior

In a notable scene during the second movie, John has this gun, the Kimber Warrior running through an art exhibit chasing down the gunman that is after him. In one scene, John manages to reload the gun with just one hand. His skills are top-notch!

Kel-Tec KSG Shotgun

Of course, John doesn’t just shoot different high-quality handguns, he also favors shotguns and rifles too. One such weapon is the Kel-Tec KSG shotgun. In the first film, he gets one of these guns away from the Russian goons going after him. As a powerful 12 gauge pump-action shotgun, it carries two side by side magazines that hold 15 shells. Bye-bye bad guys!

Coharie Arms CA-415

An automatic rifle that has some mega firepower, the Coharie Arms CA-415 is used during a shootout in a church scene. He does over-fire this weapon unrealistically without reloading, which is something that doesn’t usually happen in these movies. They are usually pretty good about showing the right amount of bullets, but for some reason they disregard this piece of reality with this powerful weapon after it fires more than 30 rounds.

Are you ready to watch the John Wick trilogy again? Turn on your cable TV, it’s bound to be showing at least one of the films right now. It’s definitely fun to spot all the amazing arsenal of weapons that actor Keanu Reeves gets to use in the movies.
