The Gun Owners of America are hosting a very special event on April 25th, 2020. It’s their first annual Gun-A-Thon, and the event promises to be a day filled with shooting fun.
That’s not all though. There is so much more to explore when you attend this event that will be held at the Silver Eagle Group Shooting Range. The Gun Owners of America are excited to put on this event that not only will showcase exactly what they do, but will also help people to become better shooters.
The Silver Eagle Group Shooting Range
The Gun Owners of America chose this particular range because it’s modern, indoors, and can accommodate the thousands of people they expect to attend. Located in Northern Virginia, the range has a huge retail shop for gun sales and accessories, four different ranges that even include two 270 degree running man targets, and a private event area that is spacious and elegant. This is definitely not your ordinary shooting range with all its next level amenities. If you live in the area, this is a firing range that you are going to want to come back to again and again.
The Schedule for the Gun-a-Thon
The event runs all day from 10 am to 6 pm. There will be different speakers talking about gun rights, classes on shooting, and even some celebrity guests from the gun world. Booths on display from various gun companies will show off their latest gear and guns. Guests will also have the chance to win a variety of cool prizes.
Tasty food and drinks will also be available from local companies in the Ashburn area, where the shooting range is located.
You can also see some gun celebs, like Jason David Frank, an actor and mixed martial arts specialist. He is most-known for his role as the green Power Ranger, a huge television hit in the early 1990s. Another special guest will be Abby Lynn, the Weaponized Wanderess. More guests will announced as we get closer to the event.
Buying Tickets
You can purchase regular or VIP tickets for the event through Eventbrite. The proceeds for the event will go towards the Gun Owners of America’s mission to keep the Second Amendment alive and well for all that want to bear arms.
Tickets cost $50 for general admission. For $100, you get general admission, but also a ticket to the pre-event dinner the night before that all the stars going to the event will attend. With a $1,000 ticket, you get general admission, the pre-event dinner, and you also get access to the celebrity green room during the all day event. That’s a must-buy if you want to get up close and personal with the stars of the gun world, but also makes a great donation to a worthy group, like the Gun Owners of America.
