The southern border in Texas has been inundated with illegal migrants since Biden took office in 2021. Border Patrol is completely overwhelmed as caravans of people flood the border and a lot of them have help from Mexican cartels.
The commander in chief has done nothing but facilitate the flow of illegals and America is facing the biggest immigration crisis in history. We all saw how huge flows of migrants changed the face of Europe with the African migrant crisis in 2015 – America is facing the same fate.
Some Governors though, are fighting back against the liberal policies undoing America, and are sending those jumping the border, to Washington D.C.
Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott, recently ordered that migrants coming into Texas, will be then bussed to the nation’s capital.
The Texas Division of Emergency Management, loaded a bus of migrant volunteers, to travel to D.C, from the Del Rio Border Patrol Sector.
According to a report from Fox News, the migrants are citizens of Columbia, Cuba, Nicaragua, and Venezuela. There were some families in the groups, but mostly consisted of single adults, but it is unknown how many have been dropped off so far.
Gov. Abbott ordered the Texas Division of Emergency Management to transport DHS-released migrants on April 6. They were to be dropped on DC on a voluntary basis.
“To help local officials whose communities are being overwhelmed by hordes of illegal immigration who are being dropped off by the Biden Administration, Texas is providing charter buses to send these illegal immigrants who have been dropped off by the Biden Administration to Washington, D.C.,” Governor Abbott said during a press conference in Weslaco, Texas.
“We are taking them to the United States Capitol where the Biden Administration will be able to more immediately address the needs of the people that they are allowing to come across our border,” the governor added.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis first said in 2021 that migrants dumped in the Sunshine State would be sent to Biden’s home state of Delaware after dozens of migrant planes landed in Florida.
DeSantis reiterated that he would in fact, bus migrants to other parts of the country, namely blue-run States – like Delaware or Martha’s Vineyard, his office also explained that migrants could also be sent “to other ‘progressive’ states whose governors endorse blatant violations of federal immigration law.”
The State Legislature proposed a budget of $12 million, for the Florida Department of Transportation to relocate illegal immigrants from Florida.
“The legislature delivered on this priority, along with many of the governor’s other priorities to protect Floridians from the harmful impacts of the Biden border crisis,” a spokesperson for DeSantis said.
“It is not the responsibility of Floridians to subsidize aliens to reside in our state unlawfully; we did not consent to Biden’s open-borders agenda,” his office said.
Florida will have access to the funds before July 1 when DeSantis signs the new budget.
